We sleep at night to rest our body and our brain. After this break, we can work with a lot of energy. But some people sleep at night and wake up very tired in the morning. 

Why is this happening?

So some people feel very tired when they sleep at night and wake up in the morning, because they haven't had a deep sleep. After we go into deep sleep, many things in our body and brain become inactive. At that time, if there is any damage to the cells of our brain or body, they will be repaired. Not only that, when we are in deep sleep, the information in our short-term memory is stored in the long-term memory. While preparing the information in this way, they are arranging in order during deep sleep. So if you don't go to deep sleep after you sleep, you will feel very tired the next day. And your memory can be quite weak.

On average, a small child spends about 50% of his sleeping time in deep sleep. But an adult spends about 20% of his sleeping time in deep sleep. According to scientists, we should be in deep sleep for at least 90 minutes. So, if you want to be in deep sleep for 90 minutes, you should sleep at least 7.30 hours. But this matter can vary from person to person.

To get deeper sleep than usual, you need to get into a sleeping routine. Here you need to pay attention to several things.

01. You should stop drinking tea/coffee 6 hours before going to bed.

Melatonin is produced in the human brain. This is what makes us sleepy. When we drink tea/coffee, this melatonin secretion is reduced to a great extent. If you want to stay awake for a day, you can drink things like tea/coffee. But doing this every day will make it very difficult for you to get deep sleep.

02. Eating and drinking.

Stop eating and drinking 3 hours before going to bed. After you eat a big meal, your body is under a lot of stress. If you drink a lot of water before bed, you may need to go to the bathroom while you sleep. It also disturbs your sleep.

03. Stop using digital screens.

Digital screens disrupt our sleep in many ways. This type of display emits blue light. When this blue light falls on our eyes, our brain thinks that it is daytime. Then the secretion of melatonin in our brain decreases, and it becomes very difficult to sleep. The night mode feature comes in the operating system of the current phone models. By using that option at night, the above situation can be avoided to some extent.

Likewise, if you have a blue light bulb in your bedroom, replace it with a yellow or orange light bulb. It helps you sleep deeply. Algorithms in the social media we use most often are designed to keep us happier or keep  longer in the app. It is best to use them during the day. But can make our minds restless, using them before sleep. It may affect our deep sleep.
